I never considered Fuente to be a home run hire

This was a guy who was 26-23 at a G5 school. Take away the creampuff FCS wins and he didnt even break .500 for wins among his FBS peers. Other than a win vs. Ole Miss, he didn't have any other impressive wins during his Memphis tenure. Will Stewart also warned about his less than impressive recruiting record while at Memphis. I compiled and posted his recruiting record not that long ago, and it shows he was notably worse at recruiting than his predecessor as well as his successor at Memphis. So Whit hired a guy who wasn't even .500 vs. his peers as well as having a bad recruiting rep and somehow he's a home run hire???
